Angelo Mancuso started college majoring in Natural Resources Conservation. Realizing that he missed his calling, he then began his career as an actor and apprentice at Theatre West in LA in 1982. Over the years he’s worked both in front and behind the camera on numerous projects, including writing, producing and directing films, commercials and PSAs. Angelo manifests a distinct edge and perspective into filmmaking.
A uniquely gifted, multi-talented artist and a grandson of immigrants himself, Angelo brings to light a balanced perspective on the issues of immigration as they relate to agriculture.
“In light of the way Hollywood often produces movies that push an agenda, I felt it was important to shed a truthful light on these issues and encourage a rational and reasonable debate including respect for the American farmer, migrant workers and the need for comprehensive immigration reform.”
Angelo makes his feature film directorial debut with his documentary “American Harvest.”
